adidas Women’s AS 1 Outdoor Shoe Review

I gave this sneaker four stars instead of five because I was expecting something a little different.

The shoe is very comfortable and the laces are different from the normal adidas sneaker laces.

The color is perfect for making dry mud disappear and the tread on it is excellent for outdoor traction.

However, I thought the upper part of the shoe would be solid and more sturdy feeling since it was tagged as an outdoor trail shoe. Instead there are sections of the breathable mesh, which is nice for ventilation but not so good for muddy trails. I guess if you’re more into the Urban trails this would be a great shoe, but I’m more in the middle of nowhere and prone to finding mud and briars and things that don’t go well with mesh.

The most comfortable sandal ever. I love the green. My daughters dog used my first pair for a chew toy and I had to get another pair. They are light and rugged for work.. I work in gardens all day and get them wet and muddy, then wash and wear with a summer dress. I will buy these again and again

I bought the gray/black Kayenta sandals for a cruise. They were versatile, light to pack, and looked great with everything from a swimsuit to a dress. They did rub the top of my foot until I got 2 blisters, though.

It’s like the front of shoe is a size larger! – Lizzie –
The shoes arrived just like they were suppose to. I tried them on and thought they felt a little loose over the top of my foot, but everything else fit well. I took them on vacation two days later and wished I hadn’t. They ripped up my feet. I would of sent them back on my return, but I no longer have the box or sales slip. The sandal is designed for a very wide foot and my foot is not in the least bit narrow.
