Although this was a nice shoe and along the lines of what I was looking for, I ordered this in the Espresso/Brown combination and it was hemp, not suede. Take a close look at the color swatch on-line. If it looks like canvas, it is.

Sorry for the cheese title. For some reason, above all brands, Adidas has always appealed to me. I’m not sure why. They use sweatshop labor just like every other brand, but..i dunno, the old school beat box connection gets me some how.

On the practical side, these shoes are extremely comfortable. I found these shoes after looking for a replacement for my Converse low tops which were way too tight in the toe box area(which is odd, because i have tiny feet, 6.5) There’s a nice bit of padded arch support in the shoe, though the shoe sole itself is nice and flat for a good neutral connection to the ground. My only complaint would be that the shoe laces don’t seem to want to stay knotted. Yeah, that’s right, my only complaint is about the *shoelaces*. Buy these shoes. They’re comfortable and they look good. Now, if only they could move their production facilities to the Bronx..
